All children under the age of 15 MUST be actively supervised by an adult whilst waiting for or receiving Face Painting. The artist IS NOT responsible for supervising children.
The artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate or have the artist perform a patch test at least 30 minutes prior to painting.
We strive to use only the safest materials. However, no product can guarantee it will not cause a reaction. It is the responsibility of the client, and the parents/caregivers of children being painted to be aware of ingredients they may be sensitive to, and review the Safety Data Sheet ingredient lists if desired.
If an allergic reaction does occur, paint should be removed immediately. Water and a soft cloth are typically all that are needed to remove the paint.
Some paint colours contain pigments that may cause minor staining of the skin. Face paint manufacturers recommend removing paint within 12 hours using a gentle soap and water and a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, either a moisturiser, mineral oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, coconut oil (or similar) can be safely applied to the skin before gently removing with a cloth. Always patch test any product on the skin first.
The artist IS NOT responsible for any adverse effects that may impact the face painting once the child or client leave the artist’s chair. These can include, but are not limited to sweat, water (from rain or swimming), touching the face, drinking and eating, adding or removing clothing.
After painting, remove clothing carefully and avoid the paint making contact with furniture or other property. The artist WILL NOT be held responsible for paint rubbing off or staining clothing, furniture or other property.
